Photography with Purpose and Intent

Darkroom Daddy Photography is a space dedicated to light, shadow, the human form, and the art of capturing decisive moments.

What began with curiosity has grown through trial and error, plenty of experimentation and a continuing desire to learn. I don’t pretend to be the most polished photographer, and that’s never really been the point. Photography is a creative outlet, a chance to explore ideas, challenge myself and enjoy the process of making images and capturing moments.

My work leans towards portraiture, the human form, and leather and fetish aesthetics, but I’m equally interested in stepping outside what might be expected of Darkroom Daddy. Sometimes the result is dark and moody; sometimes it’s bright, exposed or deliberately different.

I’m not interested in high-volume or constantly chasing shoots. I prefer collaboration, a conversation, an idea, a person or a concept that gives us a reason to create something together. That freedom helps keep photography enjoyable while giving me room to experiment and continue developing my craft.

I’m drawn to images with character and presence: strength and vulnerability, masculinity and softness, ritual and texture, or simply those fleeting moments when something genuine appears in front of the camera.
