Current Photography Projects
This is where ideas take shape. Below are current creative projects seeking collaborators. Some are fully formed concepts, others are evolving explorations.
If something resonates, reach out. Let’s create with intent. Or if you have a concept and want to make it happen, lets discuss.
Concept - Framed *OPEN*
Concept
FRAMED explores the tension between identity and perception, placing subjects within a physical frame while revealing the space beyond it. Each image plays with control, context, and the idea that what we present is only ever part of the picture. The illusion suggests a traditional portrait, yet subtle elements break the boundary.
The Exploration
At times, participants will physically hold the frame, reinforcing the idea that we actively construct and carry our own identity, choosing what is seen, what is centered, and what is kept within view. In other moments, the frame exists independently, suspended or positioned between the subject and the viewer, suggesting distance, external perception, or the way identity can be defined by forces beyond our control.
This project is open to both individuals and couples, allowing for exploration not only of self, but of connection, how identity shifts, overlaps, or contrasts when shared with another person within (or beyond) the frame. The focus remains on the act of framing itself: what is placed inside, what falls outside, and how those boundaries shape the way we are seen.

Concept - Exposed *OPEN*
Concept
EXPOSED is a photographic series exploring leather, fetish, and identity in high key light with high contrast, removing shadow to reveal what is often hidden.
High key photography is a style defined by bright, even lighting, minimal shadows, and a clean tonal palette that allows form, texture, and subject to exist clearly and without distraction while high contrast will offset with the black texture of leather and skin.
This project shifts the visual language of fetish away from darkness and shadow into openness and light. Not performance, not spectacle, just a quiet strong presence. It is an exploration of what leather and fetish looks like when nothing is concealed and light exposes all.
The Exploration
This series focuses on the human side of fetish and leather, how it is worn, experienced, and embodied.
Through a restrained and minimal approach, the work centers on form, structure and texture against light leading to identity without expectation.
Subjects are invited to bring pieces that represent them. Movements are subtle, there is no need to perform, only to be present and contribute.
Collaborators Sought
EXPOSED is a collaborative project with the leather, fetish, and kink community.
Participation is open to all bodies, identities, and levels of experience.
Each session is shaped by trust, conversation, and mutual respect.
Subjects are not cast to fit a brief; they help define it. What they wear, how they carry themselves, and what they choose to share all inform the outcome.
This is not about directing a look. It is about creating space for authenticity to exist within the light and out of the shadow.
Outcome & Visibility
The series is intended to live across multiple formats:
- Social Media
- Darkroom Daddy Website
- Potential exhibition and installation
Images may be presented individually or as part of a wider narrative, often paired with short reflections or statements from participants.
At its core, EXPOSED is both a visual series and a community archive, documenting a moment, a perspective, and the people who shape it.
It invites visibility without demand, and representation without performance.
Concept - Rear View
Status: IN DEVELOPMENT
Concept
A minimalist portrait series focused on the male backside, strength, form, vulnerability, and humanity captured without distraction. Cropped and composed with care, the work removes the face to shift attention to the rear structure, muscle, softness, scars, age, and individuality.
The intention is not shock, but pride and presence.
The Exploration
We often avoid conversations around men’s health, particularly bowel health. This project uses a bold but respectful visual approach to spark awareness and raise funds for men’s bowel cancer initiatives.
The bum becomes both subject and symbol, strength facing away from the viewer, yet fully seen.
Collaborators Sought
-
10–15 male or male identiofying participants
-
All body types, ages (18+), and backgrounds welcomed
-
Comfort with artistic nudity (non-explicit, sculptural presentation)
-
Willingness to support a charitable outcome
Outcome & Visibility
Images will form a curated series. Select works may be sold as limited prints or digital copies, with proceeds directed to a men’s bowel cancer charity.
This is art with impact, created respectfully, shared intentionally.
Concept - Leather & Leash
Status: IN DEVELOPMENT
Concept
A portrait series celebrating the connection between members of the leather and fetish community and their furry family companions. Strength and softness. Power and gentleness. Identity and care.
The Exploration
This project highlights the often unseen tenderness within alternative spaces. It challenges stereotypes by placing leather and fetish expression alongside the warmth of fur family.
Proceeds from images will be directed to the RSPCA or simialr organisation.
Collaborators Sought
-
Individuals comfortable being photographed in leather/fetish expression alongside their pets
-
Well-socialised animals suited to a controlled studio or safe outdoor environment
-
Openness to balanced composition (pet welfare always prioritised)
Outcome & Visibility
Curated digital release with select print raising funds for animal welfare. Some variations may be kept private depending on participant preference.
This project is about connection, between humans and animals, and giving back through visibility.
Concept - UnMasked
Status: IN DEVELOPMENT
Concept
A portrait series exploring concealment and revelation. This may involve physical masks, pup hoods, shadow work, partial obscurity, or compositional blocking, but always with purpose.
The Exploration
Persona versus presence.
Armor versus exposure.
Who are we when we remove what protects us, or when we choose not to?
Each collaborator will contribute to shaping how “masking” is interpreted within the frame.
Collaborators Sought
-
3 individuals comfortable exploring vulnerability in a controlled environment
-
Open to expressive stillness
-
All genders welcome
Outcome & Visibility
Designed as a paired-image series (concealed / revealed).
Intended for online feature or exhibition if worthwhile.
Concept - In Plain Sight
Status: IN DEVELOPMENT
Concept
Fetish expression placed within stark, neutral, almost corporate environments. Clean lines. Controlled composition. Minimal context.
The tension lies in the contrast.
The Exploration
What happens when alternative identity is placed in a setting that wasn’t built for it?
Does the space neutralise the expression, or amplify it?
This project explores visibility, confidence, and the quiet act of occupying a space unapologetically.
Collaborators Sought
-
4-6 participants
-
Comfortable presenting strong full BLUF or full fetish presence within restrained surroundings
-
Open to minimal styling adjustments
Outcome & Visibility
Online release with options for further showcasing.
Concept - After Dark
Status: IN DEVELOPMENT
Concept
A low-light portrait series where shadow becomes an active element. Directional light reveals form selectively, what is shown is deliberate; what is hidden is equally intentional.
The Exploration
How much is enough to understand someone?
What does suggestion do that clarity cannot?
This is a study in restraint, silhouettes, edge light, negative space, and mood.
Collaborators Sought
-
4-6 collaborators comfortable working in minimal light
-
Open to slower, deliberate pacing and suggestive posing
-
Comfortable with shadow obscuring parts of identity
Outcome & Visibility
Online feature series titled After Dark with exhibition potential.
Concept - Luminous
Status: IN DEVELOPMENT
Concept
A portrait series using LED light painting to create deliberate streaks, halos, outlines, and interruptions within the frame. The body remains grounded and present while light becomes atmosphere.
It’s controlled movement in darkness.
The Exploration
Light can reveal — but it can also distort, shield, energise, or transform.
This project explores the relationship between stillness and motion, structure and electricity. How does identity shift when traced, wrapped, interrupted, or partially erased by light? Where does the body end and the illumination begin?
Each image will be built through collaboration: posing, timing, restraint, and repetition.
Collaborators Sought
-
4–6 individuals comfortable working in low-light environments
-
Open to slower pacing and experimental repetition
-
Comfortable holding still while light moves around them
-
Fetish or alternative expression welcomed but not required
Outcome & Visibility
Intended as a curated online series with strong exhibition potential.
Concept - TBC
