Designed as a two-step ritual, PREP & PLAY combines warmth, connection, and sensation.
PREP is our signature massage candle. Once melted, it transforms into a warm, silky oil that glides easily over the skin, helping set the mood and prepare the body for what comes next.
PLAY is our body wax candle, formulated to pour at approximately 45–48°C. Part of the experience comes from exploring how the wax feels as it travels from candle to skin. By adjusting the pouring distance, you can subtly change the sensation and warmth, creating a more personalised experience.
When the scene is over, the wax cleans up easily. We recommend returning to PREP as an aftercare ritual, using the warm massage oil to help soothe the skin, restore moisture, and bring the moment gently to a close.

Every PREP & PLAY candle is poured into a micro concrete vessel that is handmade by us in our Sydney studio.
Unlike mass-produced containers, each vessel is individually cast, finished, and prepared by hand. This means no two are ever exactly the same. Small variations in colour, texture, surface patterns, air bubbles, or minor imperfections are all part of the process and reflect the handmade nature of the product.
Micro concrete also offers practical benefits. It remains easier to handle while the candle is burning than many traditional materials, although we always recommend handling the vessel from areas away from the flame and exercising appropriate care around any lit candle. We also recommend extinguishing the flame before pouring the wax pool.
Different concrete batches can produce subtle shifts in tone, making each vessel unique to its production run. These characteristics are not flaws, they’re part of what makes every PREP & PLAY candle a genuine artisan piece.

And when the evening starts winding down, PREP is ready for aftercare too, helping restore moisture and bring everyone gently back to earth.

Formulated to pour at approximately 46–48°C, the experience changes depending on how you use it. A higher pour gives the wax more time to cool. A lower pour delivers a little more warmth. Part of the fun is finding the sweet spot together.
The wax is designed for smooth release and easy clean-up, making it approachable for curious beginners and experienced players alike.
