Returns & Customer Care Policy
At Darkroom Daddy, we take pride in producing small-batch products using quality ingredients and careful preparation. We want you to enjoy your purchase and the atmosphere it creates.
Because many of our products are handmade and produced in controlled runs, we operate with a no change-of-mind returns policy.
Change of Mind & Scent Preference
We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind, including situations where the fragrance, style, or product was not what you expected.
Scent perception is subjective and can vary from person to person depending on environment, burn conditions, and individual preference. For this reason, we cannot offer returns based on scent preference.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Gift cards
- Clearance products
- Discontinued items
All purchases of these items are considered final.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can assess the issue and work toward a suitable resolution.
To help us investigate, please include:
- Clear photos of the product
- Photos of the packaging it arrived in
- Your order number
If a fault or damage is confirmed, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on the circumstances.
Return shipping will only be covered by us where an item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged in transit, or incorrect.
Product Condition
Any product returned for assessment must be:
- Unused and unburned
- In original condition
- Returned with all original packaging and components
Returns will not be accepted for:
- Burned or used candles
- Products damaged through misuse or improper storage
- Items returned without original packaging
- Claims made outside the notification timeframe
Small Batch Nature
Our products are handmade in small batches, so minor variations in appearance between pours may occur. These natural differences are part of the small-batch process and are not considered faults.
Customer Care
We take customer experience seriously. If your order arrives safely but something about the product does not meet the standard you expected, we encourage you to contact us.
While we cannot offer returns for change of mind or scent preference, we are always open to discussing concerns and finding a reasonable solution where possible. All resolutions are handled case-by-case and at the discretion of Darkroom Daddy.
