Collaborators and Participants Sought
These projects are open to individuals and couples; all gender expressions welcome. Projects are offered on a donation basis.
FRAMED explores identity and perception through physical picture frames, revealing that what we present is only part of who we are. Participants may hold the frame, symbolising ownership of identity, or appear behind a suspended frame, challenging how others perceive us. Contrasting elements inside and outside the frame reveal different expressions of self, blurring the boundaries between appearance and reality.
The project creates deliberate portraits exploring what we reveal, conceal and choose to express. Images are intended for a curated online gallery, with potential exhibition or competition submissions. Selected images may be shared publicly, while private variations remain confidential by agreement.
JOY is a portrait series exploring the people, experiences and simple pleasures that genuinely make us happy. Inspired by the iconic Bob Hawke strawberry milkshake portrait, the project asks one simple question: What brings you joy?
Whether it's chocolate, beer, leather, kink, music, creativity or something less tangible, the focus isn't necessarily on the thing itself, but the emotion, expression and personality it reveals.
Participants are encouraged to interact naturally with whatever brings them happiness, capturing moments that are playful, intimate, unexpected or wonderfully ordinary.
The outcome is a curated collection of intentional portraits celebrating individuality and the different ways we experience happiness. Not just what brings you joy, but what joy brings out in you.
VICES is a portrait series exploring indulgence, temptation and the things we enjoy perhaps a little more than we should. From chocolate, beer and coffee to leather, kink, guilty pleasures or personal obsessions, the project asks: What's your vice?
Without judgement or justification, participants are invited to embrace their chosen indulgence, exploring the relationship between desire, pleasure, personality and self-expression.
Portraits may be playful, provocative, sensual, excessive or quietly revealing, using creative composition and interaction to capture the character behind the craving.
The outcome is a curated collection of deliberate portraits celebrating the things we desire, consume, collect and unapologetically enjoy. No judgement. No justification. What's your vice?
JOY explores what makes us genuinely happy and brings out the best in us, while VICES explores what tempts us, what we indulge in, and the pleasures we unapologetically embrace.
REAR VIEW is a minimalist portrait series celebrating the male backside through strength, form, vulnerability and individuality. Without faces or distractions, each image explores muscle, softness, scars, age and the beauty of bodies as they are.
Beyond artistic expression, the project aims to encourage conversations about men's bowel health and raise awareness of bowel cancer through bold, respectful imagery.
Seeking male or male-identifying participants, aged 18+, of all body types and backgrounds, comfortable with non-explicit artistic nudity. The outcome will be a curated collection of portraits, with selected works potentially offered as limited prints or digital images, raising funds for bowel cancer charities. Art with purpose. Pride without judgement. Awareness through visibility.
LEATHER & LEASH is a portrait series celebrating the connection between members of the leather and fetish community and their beloved animal companions. Strength meets softness, power meets gentleness, and identity meets unconditional love.
Through intimate, authentic portraits, the project reveals the tenderness and care often overlooked within alternative communities, challenging stereotypes while celebrating the bonds we share with our furry family.
Seeking individuals comfortable expressing their leather or fetish identity alongside their pets, in a safe studio or outdoor setting.
The outcome will be a curated digital gallery, with selected prints potentially available for purchase and proceeds supporting the RSPCA or similar animal welfare organisations.
Celebrating connection, challenging perceptions and giving back through photography.
